Role Overview:
The Account Manager focusses on high growth customers, be that existing or new and plays a crucial role in driving revenue and building strong partnerships. This role involves managing existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities through proactive engagement and obtaining new logos. These roles are vertical specific unless clearly stated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes the individual account management strategies to achieve and exceed the customer growth & retention targets.
- Acquire new logos as per Vertical new customer sales expectations. § Develop SME in JATO’s solutions specific to your respective Vertical.
- Develop customer relationships while uncovering growth opportunities through proactive customer engagement and support of our Marketing campaigns.
- Works with SDR & MDR teams to drive necessary activity to book (where relevant), new Business Meetings, developing networks of relationships and contacts across allocated accounts in order to generate business opportunities.
- Build, manage and communicate agreed Business Development Plans for allocated accounts to deliver the required sales targets.
- Manage sales pipeline within the company’s CRM system for existing customers and new business development opportunities, lead generation, forecasting and development prospects
Accountable For:
- Achieving assigned target through a combination of increasing sales, retention and value of current business § Acquisition of new logos
- Developing exiting customer relationships towards trusted partner status
- To develop SME in all relevant JATO products specific to our vertical customer base. Understand our competitors to differentiate our products and services.
- Ensuring the Voice of Customer is fed back into the business to help shape future direction
- Manages customer engagement through the different stages of the customer journey
- Ensures 100% CRM compliance including pipeline accuracy, customer information including use case, goals, key contacts etc.
- Ensures all operational activity identified in the customer account plans is actioned and accepted by the customer
Key Requirements:
- Solid consultative sales experience with proven, measurable success on new and existing business, in a Data, Software or SaaS environment
- Must clearly demonstrate understanding the difference between a value-add solution and a commodity sales approach, with a clear understanding of a “value proposition”
- Clearly demonstrable New Business sales and Account Management skills are essential
- A dedication to the provision of top-level customer service/relationship management
- Ability to deal with complex concepts with a high level of competence
- Highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills High level of IT skills and competence for mainstream business should include excellent working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM (or similar, as an example Salesforce)
- Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook
- Sales Technology – Outreach, etc.
