Role Overview:
To establish and maintain relationships with automotive dealers along with obtaining market intelligence on incentives (bonus, margin, dealers support…), transaction data, finance (monthly payment & leasing), specs, volumes, onboard and sign Sales Link deals with dealer groups and other relevant data.
To identify, get in contact and meet (email/phone/physically) with senior and top executives in the dealership environment to ease and accelerate the decision-making process to support JATO business development within the automotive retail. To drive opportunities, sign ups, and engagement with dealers for relevant JATO services such as SalesLink / Market View.
To identify and qualify sourcing opportunities and secure commitments for usable data contribution and building networks across dealer organisations.
To generate sufficient data coverage in line with the needs of JATO’s product strategy for data sets built around market data from dealerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a data sourcing strategy for the English automotive market in line with coverage targets for relevant data sets in the English market.
- Identify, prioritise, and execute on opportunities to gather and leverage automotive retail data that is usable and helps achieve data coverage targets.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with dealer organisation to ensure continued access to the required data on a regular basis and demonstrates a focus on improve data quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide retail market knowledge and insight for JATO partners within the English automotive franchise network.
- Work with our Product, Data & Analytics and Sales teams to translate customer needs into value adding JATO solutions.
- Coordinate data processing with the Digital Ingest and Data Operations teams for Incentives and TA.
- Develop and deliver scalable expansion plans for new data sets to expand our footprint in Europe and Great Britain.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in an automotive franchise network environment, preferably with Sales / Business Development experience in the English market.
- A master’s degree or equivalent would be desirable.
- Thorough understanding of automotive dealer operations, with a focus on automotive, campaigns and commercial strategies.
- Understanding of the automotive retail ecosystem.
- Understanding of Dealer Management systems is an asset.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others both within and outside the organisation.
- Excellent organising and planning skills to coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to work independently but report clearly/regularly to management and deal with conflicting priorities.
- Proficient with MS Packages.
- Highly developed communication skills in English.
- Have the ability to interact and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Passionate and committed to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment.
