About the role:

The Data Research Specialist will be responsible for Working within a virtual team which will bring the strategic direction of JATO into operational reality through multiple hubs covering all regions of the global operation, to perform the day-to-day allocated work and deliver against the Data operations and research priorities for JATOs products and services. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration, multi-country and multi-functional coding as well as own continuous development of the skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data quality through comprehensive Quality Assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Based on allocated workload monitor the events of automotive market(s) and collect the relevant and required information in-order-to input into JATO databases using our proprietary software and following company procedures and guidelines.

·        Research, update and process required changes and monthly updates to JATO proprietary software against relevant quality standards, procedures, and business requirements (in accordance to SLA, KPIs, specific head office requests, etc).

·        To elicit additional relevant information and ensure a steady flow of the highest quality mixes by using effective networking (internal, external, primary or secondary sources) and influencing skills.

·        Accountable for successfully completing designated workload along with additional specialized activities based on the immediate priorities of the Data Operations Team.

·       Follow market trends and be able to identify market events that will generate valuable insights to our customers.

·       Based on allocated workload, perform quality assurance (QA) activities to improve data quality.

·       Successfully resolve customer issues as a part of The JATO experience customer support/escalation process.

·       Stay up to date and execute the latest, ongoing JATO procedure changes.

·       Advocate one’s personal development as a part of JATO’s ongoing learning curriculum.

·       Use of JATO tools which are existing now or those may be used in the future to implement corrections and changes into the database as guided and required by the Data Operations management and CoE.

Key Requirements:

·       Good command of English (spoken and written) language, knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

·        Sufficient communication skills enabling productive and effective relations with internal and external customers.

·       Advanced Excel knowledge is a must.

·       Experienced in handling large amounts of data and distilling meaning and direction from ambiguity.

·       The ability to focus on detailed information and to work with large amount of data long hours keeping highest attention.

·       Analytical thinking and data-driven mentality are required to elicit additional, relevant information and ensure the mixes obtained is of the highest quality.

·       Excellent computer skills are mandatory, as much of the work will entail working with spreadsheets and data manipulation.

·       Interest and/or working experience in the automotive sector is preferred.

·       Being inquisitive and having proactive attitude.

·       Being well-organized.

·       Ability to keep the agenda and work for deadlines.

·       Interest in data analysis and willingness to find alternative solutions for the issues found Knowledge of vehicle technology, global automotive market and SQL is an Advantage.
