We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Data Research Specialists to join our Research team, based at our Aerocity office in Delhi, India.

About the role:

As Data Research Specialist, you’ll be responsible for updating JATO’s global automotive databases with accurate vehicle data, including pricing, specifications, and options.

This involves interpreting official documentation, aligning data with JATO standards, and ensuring quality through regular checks and updates.

You’ll work with proprietary tools and follow internal procedures to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update JATO databases and news bulletins with accurate automotive data (pricing, specs, options) across global markets.

• Monitor market developments and collect information from internal sources, manufacturer sites, and official industry platforms.

• Review and align new or updated vehicle specifications with JATO data structures and standards.

• Interpret and input data using JATO guidelines and proprietary tools, ensuring quality compliance.

• Perform QA checks to maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness as per SLAs and KPIs.

• Apply corrections and updates as directed by Data Operations, CoE, and business needs.

• Manage assigned workload and support priority tasks within the team.

• Collaborate with local teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Stay updated on JATO processes and implement changes as required.

• Use JATO tools for task management, time tracking, and research.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus

• Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferred; candidates with strong automotive knowledge also welcome

• Strong research, analytical, and data-driven approach

• Interest in vehicle technology, specs, and market trends

• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel

• High attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets
