Role Overview:
The Incentives Data Research Specialist (DRS) is responsible for researching, analysing, coding, and delivering Manufacturer Public Incentive campaigns. This role ensures accurate and timely data entry into JATO’s database in accordance with established methodologies, while maintaining the highest standards of data protection and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Local Market Incentives information: Gather complete information on Incentives across local market and wider industry. While data is often provided locally, the DRS must also conduct independent research, when necessary, such reviewing OEM/Importer websites, to ensure full and accurate coverage.
To analyse Incentives documentation: Review and interpret large volumes of information to extract relevant campaign details, identify the types of incentives involved (Dealer, OEM, Bank, other, etc.) and classify all data based on established incentives methodology and defined processes.
Maintain the Incentives Database: Accurately input validated extracted data into JATO’s database platform, ensuring full compliance with local methodology, guidelines and market-specific requirements.
Back Up Information: Organize and store all collected and received data to provide verifiable evidence supporting database content. This ensures transparency, accuracy, and traceability for customer needs.
Provide Support: Respond to local operations about any customer inquiries following internal QA process. Offer clear explanations of incentive methodologies, guidelines, and procedures, helping resolve questions or issues efficiently and professionally.
Implement corrections and adjustments into the JATO database as guided and required by the Data Operations management, the CoE (Centre of Excellence), business requirements and specific head office requests.
Perform Quality Assurance activities to improve data quality and meet company standards for accuracy, timeliness, completeness and consistency, in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Use Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) for reporting and collaboration.
Successfully complete designated workload and handle additional specialized activities based on the immediate priorities within the Data Operations Team.
Adhere to rotational working patterns, to allow collaboration with global teams and ensure seamless data management during operational hours.
Stay up to date; ensuring current procedures and the latest JATO procedure changes are correctly executed.
Utilize JATO workload tools (e.g., time recording, task management) and existing or future research tools.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., data entry, data analysis, automotive-related fields).
Knowledge of database structures and data interpretation; ability to navigate information stored in databases.
General automotive industry knowledge.
Understanding of automotive finance campaigns.
Ability to read and interpret automotive finance campaigns.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to focus on large amounts of data, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
Proficiency in adhering to standard operating procedures and meeting project-specific requirements.
Familiarity with and curiosity about vehicle technology, automotive specifications, trends, and markets is required.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as familiarity with basic data manipulation tasks is key.
