Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Research Specialist, Volumes & Model Mix to join our Americas team.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across the Americas Integration team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality automotive market data and analysis.

You will be responsible for collecting, researching, validating, analysing, and maintaining vehicle registration, sales, and specification data. Through your expertise, you will help enhance the quality of our databases and support the delivery of customised insights that enable customers to make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, validate, and maintain vehicle registration, sales, and specification data from a variety of automotive industry sources.

• Research and analyse automotive market trends and vehicle information to enhance the accuracy and completeness of JATO's databases.

• Improve the quality and consistency of registrations and vehicle specifications data within the assigned markets.

• Work closely with the Americas Integration team to support client requirements and deliver customised data solutions.

• Extract, manipulate, analyse, and interpret large datasets to generate meaningful insights.

• Investigate data discrepancies and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve data processes, methodology, and quality standards.

• Support the delivery of customer-focused analyses and respond to data-related enquiries when required.

• Ensure data is processed and delivered in accordance with established timelines and quality expectations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., data entry, data analysis, automotive-related fields).

• Experience working with data collection, validation, analysis, or data management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with large datasets.

• Ability to research, interpret, and validate information from multiple sources.

• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Experience with automotive data, market intelligence, business intelligence tools, or database management would be advantageous.

• A curious mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Strong communication skills are essential for fostering productive and effective relationships with internal teams across the globe.
